I call B.S.

How can you not go to sleep for 4 days, be immune to any and all sleeping aides all because you miss sleeping with a girl.

Just pay for a prostitute, that kind of cuddling will get ya goin'.

I do whatever I want. I also sleep really well. I just find it hard to believe that medicine designed to make people fall asleep could not work on you.

Sometimes sleep aides don't work for me either. And for my roommate, they don't work at all. Things that are supposed to make him tired make him more awake and things that should wake him up, sometimes makes him sleepy. Body chemistry has it's own way of doing things. I used to be able to sleep through anything, now I'm very much an insomniac. Arg, I hate it!

Too many people I want to quote here, so I'm just going to try and do this from memory. ~heh, yeah right~

I've used Ambien in the past and it has worked very well for me.

There are people in this world, my roommate being one of them, that things have the opposite effect on. If she takes a sleeping pill she's wide awake, if she drinks coffee she gets sleepy.

VC, you need to do something and fast. I'm sorry I don't have any recommendations for you. But I want to tell you my nephew went without sleep for about a week and ended up in the psych ward of the local hospital. The lack of sleep plus his VERY vivid imagination was NOT a good combination.

Too bad you don't live around here - I have an herbal tea that's for insomnia. I haven't had to use it, but I have been told by other people that it works great. But, seeing how you're one of those people that stuff has the opposite effect on, I don't know if it would work. Would be worth a try, tho.

I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you. Keep me updated.
