That's what I'm getting at - it's interesting how only the Americans (Canadians?) go berserk over the Celtic Samhain these days.

Its strange how it seems to be just northern america who really celebrate halloween. All we get are small numbers of kids coming round threatening to throw eggs at your house unless you give 'em some sweets!

When halloween falls on a weekend. OHH MANN..NYC is a madhouse.

Too bad its on a monday this year.

What would be really funny, is if all the kids bought those diabolical masks from Silver Shamrock and ended up with their heads burst open and all insects crawling out.

That would be sweet!

If that happened I would turn to whoever was nearby and beam, smiling, "Oh, I'm as PLEASED as PUNCH..."

At least, until all the insects and snakes started pounding at the door trying to get in. ;)
