DON'T DYE IT BLACK! The only way to get it out is to strip it or let it grow out. There are a million shades to choose from. I prefer the dark purple (plum). But i think the bright red would be really cool, imo.

Hmm..That sounds about right...I think...Maybe

Wicked Lady brought home some black hairspray...So, I think I'll cut my hair, then just spray it black and take pictures for everyone who suggested black...Just to see what it looks like, because I just don't think that it will work...I probably won't have the pictures till tomorrow, because I'm going out soon (and I probably won't be home till morning...lol;) )

I've been black, blonde, red, purple, highlights, brown. I've got the plum now, i just know from expirence what works and what doesn't. There are pics in my gallery that show what color it is, that was the dark, dark plum.

Well...I HAD to go check (and now, I'm sure that everyone else will, too ;) ...lol)...I have to say, it's actually really cute, and nothing like I thought it would be...But, I just can't do it myself...

What i would suggest is to use a #2 (semi-perm)and start a bit darker or redder and step up from there. And that way, if it's not for you, it will wash out, well the red would be a bit harder, but it will get to a point where you can dye over it and it won't effect future dye's.
