i haven't seen it for awhile, and im pathetic at remembering names of movies.
but its either the haunting or the haunted. theres a brit movie of the same name. i kept looking for it in the horror section of my local video store for it. but it was in the "true story"section. if you like ghost movies i suggest ya have a look for it, it is a excellent movie. even if it was only a tele movie

I agree with everyone who said that the original version of The Haunting is the best.

But what about Ghost Story, based on the great Peter Straub book?

Ghost Story is a great ghost film ... but I think we're looking for good haunted house films.

Am I the only one here who has seen "The Uninvited", with Ray Milland , Ruth Hussey, and Gail Russell--1944?

Excellent haunting movie.

Hmmm ... played a computer game titled The Uninvited way back in the day (like 1994 or something). Never saw the film.

I just watched a potentially great haunting movie titled "GhostWatchers". It is an independent film, and will be out on video Tuesday.

It's about a girl who has that phobia where you're afraid to leave the house? I forget what its called .... agoraphobia or something. But, she soon discovers that her own apartment is haunted.

There are some really, genuinely creepy scenes in this film (my wife had to stop watching) ... but as a whole, the film is shit. The acting is terrible, and the story is told in a completely fucked up way (just because you can come up with a plot line, doesn't mean you know how to tell the story! Hire a screenwriter.)

But it's worth a rent ... on someone else's dime, preferably.
