ok - so i'm watching what i guess is about to be the end of 30 days of night and as a real-time commentary - i thought this movie wsa pretty unimpresive.
cool idea - decent actors - but the people were just so pathetic and stupid. i mean as i can tell there are at least three ways to kill the vampires - sunlight (discovered stupidly late and used with remarkable lack of effectiveness; cutting off head - should have been right at the beginning; and blowing their heads off (i saw at least three vampires with their heads blown 'clean off' and i don't recall seeing them regenerate). but instead we get this sneaking around and hiding without a single 'plan' to save themselves or kill the baddies. i'm just really disappointed. |
ok - am now at end of 30 Days of Night and feel that this is an incredibly stupid ending - do you mean to tell me that no one in this Alaskan town had a high powered rifle with a scope? no one could start pegging vampires in the head???? jesus - what a cornball way to end it
