Dont generalize....youd be surprised at how many classics are remakes. For example, you just shat on alot of very good, very well liked movies, such as


Frankenstien [1931]
Dracula [1931]
Most Hammer films

Gothika was a terrible movie..... Halle Barry should be ashamed. i dont think she HAS any shame, but if she did, she should definatlely use it for gothika.

barry shouldnt be ashamed of her performance .. just by assiciation.

it wasnt her fault it was so poorly written

well shouldn't she bother to read the script before agreeing to make the film.....not just the number of 0's on the cheque

it may have worked on paper .. direction, editing, and the score can make all the difference -

plus i bet actors dont see enough movies to know what premises have been over abused...

yeah.
