I live on the southwest side in an area called Mars Hill. I haven't been to Radio Radio yet. I saw them at Birdy's just outside of Broadripple.

Birdy's is a pretty good venue. You should definitely check out Radio Radio, and also the place right across the street called the White Rabbit. Both very cool places.

I haven't been to a venue in Fountain Square since they closed Smedley's Dream, that should give you an idea of how old I am, lol.

Haha, no idea. The Festivilla closed down in 2001 or 2002, I think, and I haven't seen him since then. I can't even imagine what he's doing these days.

Oh yeah, Festivilla was the venue he opened after Smedley's Dream closed. It was pretty much on the corner of Massachusetts and Jefferson.

Oh yeah. Very strange place, but it was one of the more popular venues for local bands from about 1998-2001 or so. Pretty much if you played the Festivilla and the Emerson, you'd made it in the Indy scene. Even though they were both really shitty venues, haha.

Oh gawd, The Emerson Theater, it's been so long since I've been there. I think the last show I saw there was, you ready for this, The Insane Clown Posse, lol. It was so much fun, I was covered head to toe in Faygo, ha ha ha.
