Sweden cheated and entered a song that was already number one in many european countries.

Reverend Peyton is from my hometown. Saw them a couple times in bars around the city. They put on a great show.

And here's how to embed YouTube videos: http://horror.com/forum/showpost.php...ostcount=14041

It's actually a saxophone.
They definitely have some faster-paced songs too between this new record and their first one.

Ah, cool. Which area?

I saw Reverend Peyton a couple of times at Radio Radio in Fountain Square, which is a great venue if you've never been.

I live on the southwest side in an area called Mars Hill. I haven't been to Radio Radio yet. I saw them at Birdy's just outside of Broadripple.

Oh yeah, I know exactly where Mars Hill is.
Birdy's is a pretty good venue. You should definitely check out Radio Radio, and also the place right across the street called the White Rabbit. Both very cool places.

I haven't been to a venue in Fountain Square since they closed Smedley's Dream, that should give you an idea of how old I am, lol.

Dude! I used to go to the Festivilla all the time! Smedley was an interesting fellow, haha.

Haha, no idea. The Festivilla closed down in 2001 or 2002, I think, and I haven't seen him since then. I can't even imagine what he's doing these days.

Oh yeah, Festivilla was the venue he opened after Smedley's Dream closed. It was pretty much on the corner of Massachusetts and Jefferson.

Oh yeah. Very strange place, but it was one of the more popular venues for local bands from about 1998-2001 or so. Pretty much if you played the Festivilla and the Emerson, you'd made it in the Indy scene. Even though they were both really shitty venues, haha.

Oh gawd, The Emerson Theater, it's been so long since I've been there. I think the last show I saw there was, you ready for this, The Insane Clown Posse, lol. It was so much fun, I was covered head to toe in Faygo, ha ha ha.

Haha, wow.
Yeah, the Emerson also had hands down the foulest bathrooms I've ever set foot in.

sfear 06-16-2012 10:12 PM

Heard it on the radio at work, a song by someone named Grace Potter, called "Never Go Back." Really like it. Also heard a song about not wanting to go to rehab by Amy Winehouse. Another good one. Anyone know the title? Would appreciate it.
