Finished my Christmas shopping and grabbed a DVD for myself:

- Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master

Now I just need Dream Child, Freddy's Dead, and New Nightmare. Would have asked for 'em for Christmas but my parents refuse to buy me movies ("You buy enough on your own"), so I'll just grab them after.

There is something warm and wonderful about watching horror movies for Christmas. A friend of mine is in Illinois visiting his family, and they make it a tradition to watch scary stuff. I'm quite certain they are in the basement watching something really warped right now!

Can't wait til Christmas. My girlfriend got me Videodrome Criterion edition. These two days move too slowly. James Woods needs to turn into a VCR now!

- The Descent (Unrated)- if you ask me, this is the purest horror movie in fifteen years. Loved it in the theatres, can't wait to watch it again.

- Donnie Darko (Director's Cut)- I've gone too long without having this gem.
