A Warning To The Curious (1972)

http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...eCurious72.jpg

An amateur archaeologist goes to a remote Norfolk town to search for the lost crown of Anglia, but at every turn he finds his movements tracked by a mysterious stranger dressed in black.

This is a very fine BBC adaptation of a M.R. James story. Though only 50 minutes long but there are some pretty effectively creepy set pieces. Highly recommended to those who love old fashioned atmospheric ghost stories.

Grave Encounters (2011)

http://i1097.photobucket.com/albums/...unters2010.jpg

A found footage flick where ghosts are mostly visible and frequently popping out on the screen made it pretty cheesy but overall it was a decent time waster.

Liked the scene where the lead ghost hunter ate a rat after beating the hell out of it!:D

She

Blast of a flick, over the top and ridiculous in every sense but just packed with entertainment.

What did you think? I thought the mindless entertainment part went a bit over the head, and the rest was eminently forgettable.

i still love these movies.

Me too. I simply adore Maniac Cop and it's sequel, ever since I watched it as a child. Robert Z'Dar was terrifying to me.

Underrated film, with very obvious nods to Rosemary's Baby. Most people hated it but I liked it. Thoughts?

They say Cameron Diaz looks quite old in this, and so not the part of her character. What say?

That wouldn't turned out much problem if they could had a well developed plot & some interesting characters. Moreover, the comedy contents were sometimes pretty average & predictable also.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice was....just OK.

The Astronaut's Wife is one of my favorite movies....in fact, I own it.
