Check out Cube 2. It's actually not that bad, just not as great as the first one.

You should try Silent Hill. If you are a fan of the games you would like it.

I've only played the first one but really didnt like the movie. Is the movie better if you've played the other games?

Yeah because there are many characters, monsters, etc. from the games in it such as the much loved pyramid head.

Guess i'll have to play the other games and give it another view then.

Just my two cents: I've never played any of the games and I thoroughly enjoyed Silent Hill.

Just me then i guess

I just found a lot of the characters to be annoying. There's lots of movies that i didnt like, then rewatched and decided i did like it so i guess i'll have to check this one out again either way.

If you can, try to find a fanedit called The Spence Edit. It's not a perfectly executed edit, but it is far superior to the original. Mainly he took out most anything not directly pertinent to Rose. Which effectively kills off the whole plotline of her husband searching for her. It makes for a far tighter movie overall.

I'm not really one for fan edits but thanks anyway.

I didn't like it as much as others in the audience did. Carrey seemed fatigued and showed very little of his now-famous "energy". There were sparks of his old self, but they were spread out. As for the penguins, they stole the scenes every time they came in. Clark Gregg, Angela Lansbury and Jeffrey Tambor lent good support, but the film missed that starry injection which Carrey usually provides.

Cropsey:

It would have been so much more interesting without all the Cropsey crap. Andre Rand's story was quite interesting. The Cropsey nonsense just felt tacked on in an amateurish way to make the documentary that much more spooky.

The One-Armed Swordsman (1967)

Such a cool, fun movie.
