Damn, that looks like a bad ass rig. Is that your home studio ? It easily looks like 4000 + dollars in equipment from what I CAN see.
Thanx.
Your off with the estimate, but its all good...took me a while to raise those funds..i spent around 12k-14k; wanted to do it right.
You into music too?

Yes sir. I would tell any musician to "do it yourself". I have worked with guys in big studio's and never liked the sound they produce. Its better too do it yourself and get the sound that you like.

I record my stuff on a 4 track, mix/EQ on a 8 track. Then dump it on my computer for a final mixing. I don't like the sound that digital mixers produce. I am all about vintage equipment. well... it all depends on what type of music your making.

digital is great for certain things. But i agree..an anlalog mackie board is just so warm sounding. I duno, this day and age...music production has no standard, its exactly like you said, whatever works for the artist. If you guys are interested, you can check out a remix of a nin track i did, and i have a few other original productions ive produced. Mostly electronic music. Let me know and i'll record them off the vinyl to mp3 and upload to my server. In the meantime, if you dig electronic music you can go here to DL a live set i recorded. www.skoof.us .

But even though i produce electronic music, I dig anythign with emotion. So even though ill b working on producing one genre, your more likely to hear killswitch engage in my car instead of electronic shit. But nothing is better than a fusion of both... ala rob zombie style/adema/orgy/nin :)

if your in a band desp, i would like to hear your stuff.
