A Dirty Shame

Later day John Waters comedy with Tracy Ulman and Johnny Knocksville.

It was funny and I laughed plenty of times, but there just isn't that sense of Anarchy and true perversion Waters had in his early years. I miss that.

Great soundtrack though, full of dirty jungle music from the 50s.

The Hurt Locker (2008). i can't believe that this flick won so many Oscars. The acting, direction, and camera work were all solid, but the story itself was contrived to absurd. What was Hollyweird thinking? Ashe.

Defendor: Totally not what I was expecting. I thought it would be a slapstick, rolling on the floor kind of comedy. Not at all. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty damn funny, but it's also quite dark and brooding. I would highly recommend this one.
