Again, it's just my opinion.

And its my opinion that its weird for Oculus to be on anyone's favorite horror movie list since it wasn't very good.

Okay, then don't tell me that I "need to watch more horror movies" because my opinions aren't the same as yours.

I have to agree, I thought Oculus was slow and rather boring.

Same in my case. And I guess for most people.

Most of the classics are in my top 10, while more new movies are in maybe my top 25, like The Grudge, V/H/S, Paranormal Activity, American Psycho, Cloverfield, etc.

I thought Oculus was great. Genuine scares and creepiness. Katie Sakoff was chilling and fantastic. And I was impressed with Gillan. Sure, I was distracted at first; I couldn't get my mind out of thinking Amy Pond was trying to kill a mirror, but ultimately the script and her performance was solid enough to let me forget. The guy who played her brother was a weak link but I legit liked this one.

The Mule (2014)
B
"A first time drug mule is caught by law enforcement."
Nice Aussie crime-comedy/drama with one really disgusting scene.
It was nice to see Walter from Fringe again.

The Equalizer (2014)
B
Denzel Washington in what could be a Jason Statham movie.
Good casting/acting and some great action.

Its not just your opinion. I just can't believe that out of all the horror movies throughout history that generic boring mirror movie would make it to your number 2. It tells me the kind of taste you have in horror films and shows me that you need to watch more because there must be some you haven't seen.

I was bored out of my mind and the pacing was terrible. I couldn't connect to the characters. The acting was bad and it wasn't scary.

Well, your Highness, not everyone shares your opinion. It's one of my favorite horror movies. Only person that's going to change that is myself, and unless there are 9 other movies that I think are better, it's not going to change for a while.

I liked Brenton Thwaites. It was the first movie I saw him in. He was also in Maleficent, which I didn't like at all, and he was also in The Signal. He was better in The Signal IMO.
