Same here, ive read a few & havent found them that good. I just grabbed this from the library as it was the only new book in the horror section.

Read Intensity a long time ago (primarily because of the cool cover!) and it was pretty good. What are your top 5 by him?

He's not bad. Just can't really get into his style. Wish i could as he has a lot of books.

winter moon,fear nothing,from the corner of his eye,velocity and the odd thomas series as a whole. i think my favorite thing about koontz is his dialogue, he writes dialogue brilliantly.
