Marley & Me

As an owner of 3 dogs, this overly sentimental canine tale did have a certain resonance, especially towards the end :(
Definitely average, but what the fuck....................I liked it.

The Happening

Great idea, not very well executed

Enemy At the Gates (2001)

Your Vice is a Locked Room and Only I Have the Key
(1972)

It's really great to see how nicely they put Poe's Black Cat under a creepy Giallo structure with a little bit of Gothic touch. The result is fantastic like its title. The best Sergio Martino film I have seen so far.

Ninja Assassin (2009)

I think it wouldn't be so bad idea to see one day this Ninjas are fighting in the middle of the Aliens vs Predators war!

Open Graves (2009)

http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/9236/opengraves.jpg

A group of surfers discover an old board game that claims a life every time it's played.

Nine Dead (2010)

Pretty average thriller with a very disappointing ending.

[.REC] 2 (2009)

http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/879/rec2w.jpg

It may lacks in shocker punches like the original one delivered one after another but overall it's a pretty decent follow up indeed and this time it comes with more broad & elaborate explanations of the situation.

Friday the 13th [Remake]

I won't lie, it did keep me kind of interested. However, the acting was pretty poor and the story was as predictable as they come. The sex scenes and nudity was ridiculously forced and the script was lacking. Some of the deaths were mildly interesting. I don't know why, but very early on I got a kinda House of Wax feeling...Oh wait, I do know why! Bunch of bad acting kids go out to the woods, there's a caring brother looking to save his sister from a psycopath. 2/5

Great film, I wince every time when that poor sod has to bite the curb

Heh, weird. I saw this the other day aswell. Borrowed it from a friend. And I agree, I loved it completely. The flashbacks worked perfectly and the acting was great. The prison showers...

I see you've got sky movie channels too. Saw this one myself last night and it was about as poor as I expected, some grisly scenes, chases through dark woods and lots of screaming. Pretty sure you need more to make a horror film but obviously Mr. Zombie believes different.
