Actually she's a he and nope, he's not blind. :) He has heterochromia which basically means he has two different colored eyes. His blue eye always comes out with a red glare on it when I take pictures though. Weird.

How am I supposed to control my cats! Look at my sig! That's my cat, everyday!

amc420vt 08-05-2008 06:37 AM

i took my older cat awhile to get use to having another cat in the house. but for the most part they get along. they're good cats. except for the scratching on the walls and floors!

I have stolen your kitty, and your money. I demand one billion dollars otherwise you'll never see the kitty again!

Well, first you should take away the machine gun. :p

Seriously, have you tried a squirt bottle with water? We do that to my cats when they get out of line. It really works.

We used the squirt bottle to keep my cat Juno out of the refrigerator. She literally used to dive in as soon as you opened the door and then wouldn't come out. You basically had to shut her in there for a minute for her to come out. This would happen EVERY time you open the fridge door.

Now she just sits by the door when you open it. You can tell she wants to explore in there (I don't know if she expects to find something different), but she stays put.

Lol.

Yeh, we used to squirt water at the neighbors cats when they tried to mess with Tigger (the retard cat), who can't stick up for herself. We just yell at our cats if they get out of line.

ChronoGrl 08-09-2008 06:18 AM

I should try the squirt bottle. She has selective hearing and ignores us when we yell at her. :(

You should so buy one of those tiny little cat sweaters that weird people dress their cats in. Threaten her with it. She'll be so scared of the idea of ***Shudder***...FUR!

LOL... Uhm... Ok... So I never thought that I'd be one of those people... But... Uhm... We're going to dress her as soon as it starts getting cold. Little kitty sweaters... My mom is even going to teach me how to knit one...

FOR HER OWN GOOD, DAMNIT! Uhm... Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh... :o

Yeah, my cats have selective hearing too. To the point that the shelter than we bought them from said that they both were half-deaf. They're not, they just don't care to acknowledge you. :p

i gave my rats a much needed bath last night.
they hated it ... they have long nails.
