You all have some wicked looking dogs. Bwind, the eyes on your dog are creepy and cool.
And Maniac, it looks like your dog is trying to look innocent haha.

It's so funny how she has an evil look about her, isn't it? Usually when you see a cat (or kitten) they have a sweet face - not Logan! And she's just as evil as she looks!

Spallalala 10-10-2005 04:54 AM

Geez, looking through some of the old posts cheebs made on this thread made me cry. I was trying to see if cheebs had put some photos of dusk up. Seems I get to do the honour.

taylorsmommy 10-10-2005 05:00 AM

Yep, Dusk and Logan could be twins!! Is Dusk evil, too?

Spallalala 10-10-2005 05:12 AM

Evil, haha. I dont think thats the right term for Dusk. I suppose from living with Cheebs could make him evil right :P

Some more pictures of the rat kittens taken just today, they grow and change so fast...all of them have their colours already, and the tiniest amount of fuzz...

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:13 AM

Sorry, I know they're kinda blurry, but you get the idea...they just lay allover eachother right now. Crawl towards eachother for warmth. They still can't see or hear right now, but they can smell and track heat very well.

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:15 AM

They look almost like tiny little puppies

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:16 AM

Here's a few taken while being held for an idea on what size they are right now...

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:18 AM

And another...this is the runt, I'm thinking about keeping him or her...I dunno why, I always want the runt...

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:18 AM

Last one, the same rat again...small, no?

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 05:20 AM

^^:o

novakru 10-12-2005 06:55 AM

Precious lil' rat babies:)

Terrin_the_Vamp 10-12-2005 08:32 AM

I'll have to get some pics but I have 3 cats. There's Sunkist,he's my little momma's boy!!! Then there's Pepper. He walks around like he is all high and mighty. Finally my little Amiyumi, definitely a spawn of satan if i've ever seen one. I also have a dog, Ceres and a fish, Fred.

Spallalala 10-12-2005 04:51 PM

If you guys think that the rat babys are cute then keep watching, cause as they grow up they get even cuter. They become these small little furballs that hop around everywhere , even up your arm.. :P

filmmaker2 10-12-2005 05:07 PM

I like rat babies too! Rats R cuuuuuute

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 06:53 PM

You should feed it mice, and guinea pigs instead.

ChEEbA 10-12-2005 06:57 PM

Fair enough, but...guinea pigs must come pretty small there then?
Yeah, besides, I suppose it's got an established diet already, no need to fuck with that.

AmericanManiac 10-13-2005 05:01 AM

Does anyone give their dog or cats bottled water? The water here I won't even drink i'm just weird like that. But I buy a case of 24 bottled water a week and give my dog about 3 bottles a day and my fiance makes fun of me and says i'm stupid. I was wondering if anyone else did this ?

taylorsmommy 10-13-2005 05:08 AM

I do. I don't drink tap water myself, so why should I give it to my pets?

AmericanManiac 10-13-2005 05:13 AM

Thank you ! At least now I know i'm not the only weird one :D

:D Any cat I've ever had has gotten bottled water!

Spallalala 10-13-2005 05:45 AM

I have thought about giving our cats bottled, but the way that phantom drinks water it could turn out to be pretty expensive. We usually fill the water bowl a few times a day.

Since you brought that up, do you guys make your own food for your animals. We found that by making there own food ( rice/pasta , roo, frozen vege, and any other bits you would like to add to it ) we always had more then enough food to feed them all for 2 weeks, but also saved money.
I dont know what the hell is in the soft wet cat food. We still buy them the crunchy cause there indoor cats and theres a special formula for them.
But they dig the food which is always good. Phantom always come crying for more haha. Such a piggy cat but sooo skinny.

taylorsmommy 10-13-2005 05:56 AM

I've never made food for them. Maybe I should have they're so damn picky!!

Spallalala 10-13-2005 06:05 AM

I never thought about making there own food. But I did consider what crap was in the wet food. It didn't look anything like the description.
And our cats are pretty picky. We can't give them fish, they just wont eat it and when they do it usually makes them throw up.
They eat almost everything, ( even hot currys haha ) but when it comes to fish there stomachs can't handle it.

taylorsmommy 10-13-2005 06:10 AM

Our Siamese that passed away in March was like that with turkey and giblets. Make her puke every time.

filmmaker2 10-13-2005 06:21 AM

I had a little black cat once and I used to take some dry food and moisten it slightly and then add a little bit of chopped cooked chicken; I would microwave that and then let it cool down. He seemed to like it okay, more than just the regular dry food, anyway.

novakru 10-13-2005 07:16 AM

I give Wolfgang bottled water as well.People make fun of me too,I don't care. The water here is poison.
I would make Wolfie his food, but he only likes a certain brand and only certain flavors of said brand....and he would starve if I tried anything else.
But the good news is,he likes the brand with no 'by-products'.
That's the one problem I have with most animal food....those by-products can lead to some severe health problems later on in life.

The cat I grew up with lost her teeth and developed breast cancer.
She never went outside,so was never exposed to any pesticides-I believe it was her food with all those BY PRODUCTS(ie,the stuff they throw away after they package meat for human consumption-think about it,the INTESTINES with waste still IN IT,ground up in your animals food! ick factor=10)

I wasn't able to afford to get an autopsy on Kitty to find out,but I felt like that may have been the cause after all the info I got on by- products.
The cancer rate has gone up exponetionally in the last 10 years.
Most animal care givers are saying it's the pesticides.
But I have a problem with that one, seeing as how MOST Pest companies DO NOT carry anything that has been shown to cause any damage to animals, apparently their lil systems can detox the little bit that IS hazardous out of their bodies before it becomes dangerous.
I don't know if this is true either, considering DEET was horrible 5 years ago and you weren't SUPPOSE to use it,now it's in everything again. *shrugs*
