I don't think it was just the stuff on the plane that got him fired. Just after he signed a contract with the WWF, he was backstage drunk. That's not a very good first impression. If I would have had another chance in the WWF, after all his screwing up (couple of arrests, drug use, alcohol abuse), I wouldn't come near any alcohol, let alone on my 1st day back.

As for wrestling today: I can only watch Smackdown here, so my favourites from that show are John Cena, Matt Hardy (although he's gone now) and Eddie Guerrero. Now here's a guy who the WWF hasn't ruined. After he got fired, he showed that he cleaned up his life, and after he came back, it's been a rollercoaster for him. He's a great wrestler and can cut hilarious promo's!

Agreed. The Eddie Guerrero/RVD ladder match was the best match I've seen in the WWF in YEARS!!! Too bad they split those guys up.

As for the Hall situation. Hall will be Hall. I wouldn't have it any other way. As for the good impression thing, do you think he really cares? I'm sure he's a filthy rich bastard anyway.
