Web domains are often only leased for a year at a time, and often the owner has registration set to auto-renew. Also, the email address registered is probably the one he used like 12 years ago when first registering the domain, so might not be one he checks anymore. Same with the mailing address.
It doesn't hurt to try though. That would be a bummer if this forum did shut down.
I agree with Chrono though on the forum creation... There are already a lot of forums, and it seems like there are already appropriate places for self-promotion. I only check like two of the forums on a regular basis. I can't imagine that creating new ones will increase participation. |
