Still waiting for the long-rumored movie version of The Talisman. :(

Sorry to have to be the one to bash Affleck but I just don't like most of what he has done as an actor and none of the movies he's directed. I think he'll probably screw this up and if by some miracle of a chance that he doesn't, at least it will be an unexpected surprise.

Bash all you want. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

Believe me, I hope I am dead wrong. King is my favorite writer so I am very critical of who directs his movies. So far only Darabont and Kubrick have done him much justice.

I think Brian DePalma's version of Carrie was superior to the book.

I think you are way off, lol, it wasn't near as good as the book.

I really didn't like the way the story was pieced together, going back and forth between the events leading up to the prom and the aftermath. It just didn't work.

It worked great for me.

Have to agree with Wicker. I liked the movie better.

Bob Gray 01-24-2012 02:49 PM

Come on, are you serious? Anyone in their right mind knows that the book is superior to the movie. Are you sure you're not just saying that because I don't like Affleck?
