You know what's weird? Morphine didn't really do much for me... Well, it made me not care about the pain, but I could still feel the pain... It was really weird. They gave me Dilaudid in the hospital which was SPECTACULAR, though - Definitely made the percocets seem like baby aspirin. ;)

Different drugs affect different people in different ways. Morphine might not do much for you in the way it has with me and sistinas when we've had it but then Dilaudid which did a lot for you may do little for me and sistinas. It's important that you find which painkiller works for you so when you are in hospital you can help them by giving you the right stuff e.g I have a violent reaction (projectile vomit, head spinning etc) to large doses of paracetamol so that's a definite no-no. Anyway I hope neither you or Sistinas end up in hospital again it's still a horrible place to be.
