Romero did not start the genre Zombie movies have been made since the 30's!!!! Such as the movie "White zombie"!!!

are all also worth seeing if zombies are your thing and you want to see some very diffrent takes on the genre!
...But be warned these are not mtv style tv advert looking movies with a boring ex model running around selling levi's(tcsm03 remake) and have some disturbing themes!
