The only thing that will happen in 2012 is a bunch of bad movies will come out based on the whole "2012 end of the world" thing. That and maybe some religious cults will commit some mass suicides

i think there are strange things afoot and wouldn't be so quick to dismiss all these 2012 warnings. i mean that plane just vanished off brazil and the economic and everything looks like something big is coming and i don't think it will be pretty

Im sure something of interest will happen in 2012, some big natural disaster or some fallout over North Koreas nukes.

I recently saw a documentary about the threat of an Atlantic Ocean tsunami, so I immediately thought about that in relation to this thread.

My favorite 2012 prediction is the planet X collision with earth. The one about the 10th planet with an extremely oblonged orbit, the same planet that supposedly all our knowledge came from. It's said that it's gonna come screaming in out of nowhere and either plow straight into us or come so close that it'll pull earth off it axis.

The Myan calender doesn't end in 2012, it's a mistranslation. All Myan historians say the date is actually refered to as a new begining, or when the calender starts back at the begining- you may have noticed their calender is a series of round 'gears' that turn. There's no end.

That's true. The Mayans believed that it just starts a new galactic day, much like a normal day for us, it is another "day" for the galaxy. Something will happen, it could be big or it could be so small that we won't even notice it.

As for the whole Apocalypse thing, people have been predicting an imminent Apocalypse ever since there were people. It's just fear of the unknown.

Isn't supposed to be some sort of special star alignment? We're in the Age of Aquarius now (fat lot of help that's done for us), and this star alignment is supposed to really open our consciousnesses and subconsciousnesses. Anyway, that's what I heard. Maybe it will be the end of Fox News.

but don't you guys think that some wierd stuff is going on. like all these governments working together and stuff and then like these planes going down and then all the other weird environmental stuff with global warming. does anybody really think all this is just like some thing that is happening?

i don't really know if i believ in like the Iluminatti and all taht stuff but it sure is weird how so many things seem to line up to there being more behind the scenes than we get told. i mean the media is so full of crap and they don't tell us anything about anything and then most people just don't want to know about anything and then when people try to tell them what's going on they just say 'oh who cares.' i just think people should keep an open mind.
