But by far my favorite Thanksgiving thing is when I make a casserole out of my cat, Old Hootie. He crawls into the baking dish by himself and soaks himself and then tucks himself in under a layer of noodles. Then he passes out for a while. Then he crawls out of the casserole dish. In this way, Hootie is recycled and we can use him again that way next year. :)

Wouldn't that be a "CATSEROLE" ?

EVERY Thanksgiving Dinner for us:

Turkey
Ham
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Potato salad
Sweet potatoes
Green beans with bacon
Cranberry sauce
Broccoli with cheese sauce
Macaroni and cheese
Yeast Rolls
2 kinds of stuffing - Stove Top and homemade giblet stuffing
Deviled eggs
Fresh vegetable plate with Ranch Dip - Baby carrots, broccoli, celery, green olives, black olvies, gerkins
Spinach dip with mini rye bread slices
Pumpkin Pie
Apple Pie
Cherry Pie
Sometimes Chocolate Silk Pie, but not every time.

Exact same things at Christmas and Easter, only without the turkey and cranberry sauce (Ham dominates during those holidays)

Dammit...Now I'm hungry

Same thing occurs when I visit grandparents and older aunts/uncles--minus the spinach., and cherry pie and bacon inside the green beans--they do rice pudding, sweet potatoe pie, pumpkin, apple, and 3 different kinds of Cake--though my dad's side of the family does the rice pudding--my mom's side focuses on out-doing themselves with the starches lol

[QUOTE=bloodrayne;761381]Thanksgiving is her all-time favorite holiday, and it sometimes falls on her birthday, which makes her very happy :)

Same thing with my brother--his bdays the 26th--and leap years I think it falls on his bday--it might be the other way around. I know that sometimes it falls on the day before (it does this year) or the day of. I'm similar with xmas--my bday is a week before it.
