Monday morning update. I have completed compiling the entries. Wanna know how big this thing can be, folks?

We have almost 400 possible entries for the letter A. Since we as judges have no set limit of how many articles there could be, that gives us almost 400 topics that can be discussed for just one letter.

Of course, there's a lot of stuff that will probably be combined into broader topics or deemed non horror, but you get the idea. Start exercising those fingers, because we're going to need some help writing definitions. A LOT of help.

So, what's going on with this? It's been awhile.

Absolutely.

A project that was so massive, it regressed into the dark realm of impossibility.

I have here a blank notepad that can be developed, should anyone wish.

Right now, it's a blank invisionfree forum with nothing in it. We can turn it into a great archive of horror through team effort, if we try.

How do we go about it? Well, that's up for grabs. Maybe it will sink back to the depths of obscurity which it has dwelled for the past two years. It's up to all of us.

This is NOT intended to be a forum where people go to post whenever. We have that here. This is set up to be a place where people who want the responsibility can maintain a section of horror knowledge for anyone who wishes to browse.

Thoughts/Interest?

I think we'd all be interested but like you said it will be massive project. How would we go about it. My opinion would be start slow and letter by letter. That or we could all be assigned a letter each or a group per letter kinda deal. One thing to be said is that it would be by far the best encyclopedia ever put together.....ever.

I've often wondered what happened about this. I remember being pretty psyched for it, then it sort of crumbled. I mean, the top 100s are always good, but you're right - it would be great to get the Aaargh-Zombie completed.
