Ok. Let me rephrase my anti-Romero rantings (I've constantly made the mistake of omitting his other films):

I think that he is an overrated director for his zombie films. I think that Night is amazing, Dawn is OK (needed some serious editing), Land and Day are abysmal and Diary was some of the most disgusting pandering tripe that I've ever seen. Could and should have been better.

To his credit, I haven't seen his other films, though. Chrono will admit it. :D

You never showed up, so I gave it to a cat. It looked like Chrono's kind of. Then I found out it was evil.

Most of Romero's movies post-1985 have sucked. Day of the Dead was the last good one.

I think he had one great moment way back in the day and everything since then has been downhill.

The plunge culminated in Land of the Dead, which tells us that rich people are evil and zombies are just like us.

Diary of the Dead (2007) pretty good ... not as good as the trilogy - way better than Land

Land of the Dead (2005) decent zombie film ... sub par romero

Bruiser (2000) good movie - kept me interested.

The Dark Half (1993) not so great (but look at the subject material)

aka Two Evil Eyes (1990) so-so - i need to watch it again

Monkey Shines (1988) didnt do much for me when i 1st saw it

Day of the Dead (1985) fucking amazing

Creepshow (1982) good fun

Knightriders (1981) interesting movie - fun watch - great cast

Dawn of the Dead (1978) amazing

Martin (1977) great film

The Crazies (1973) pretty good

Season of the Witch (1972) not great

There's Always Vanilla (1971) havent watched this one yet (but i have it)

Night of the Living Dead (1968) landmark film.
