I'm trying to think of something new... something we don't talk about a lot lol. Seriously though, while a bit tamer Art of the Devil (2 especially) has some GREAT sick stuff in it. Throwing up eels, lizards tearing out of somebody's skin, cat eating... tons of fun. Well it wasn't my favorite but I guess you could say Kids was disturbing and what about Eraserhead? Everybody seems to get something different out of it but the baby and the dream sequences... it could be put on the "disturbing list" could it not?

How about Schramm and Pink Flamingos? Oh and the Blood Feast movies of Herschel Gordon Lewis?
They can be included too. |

Schramm was quite disturbing. It is definitely not a movie to be seen alone, as it can dent even the hardest of psyches.

Maybe Ebola Syndrome?

I would say it belongs here. It doesn't push as many boundaries as Mordum, but it is still sick and disturbing. Also, the visuals aren't intentionally degraded so you get to see more of what is going on. |
I thought it was just a re-play of Mordum all over again, with some more cheap gimmicks. Given that Mordum is the first one, I d go with it over Penance.

Squirmfest
Psycho: The Snuff Reels Mu Zan E Wrong Way Forced Entry Though you might have trouble getting your hands on a few of those, due to availability. Also, not many people have mentioned August Underground. These films might push the envelope in terms of sleaze and 'gore for gore's sake', but for truly disturbing viewing you can't go far wrong with The Blair Witch Project, I Stand Alone and Schizophrenia (aka Angst). |

If its horrific shocking you want, try the Japanese "The Eye" or "Ju On" and the Thai movie "Shutter". I gurantee you wont be disappointed...at all. |
