If there is a certain topic you feel strong about, do it on that topic. Then you get to research a topic you like anyway and get to learn more about it. Plus you'll probably feel more passionate about it and it will be easier to write at least 2000 words about it.

death penalty
marijuana decriminalization abortion Iran conflict affirmative action global warming euthenasia gun control our screwed up political system or any specific aspect of it drinking & driving eating disorders Bruce Lee vs. An Angry Chimp alternative energy sources Any of those should be able to garner 2000 words in no time, but then again I could write 2000 words about thwe back of my hand or as STE suggested a sneeze. Now the question is: If, before HDC, you had put these same people in a room together, would they have become the community they are now? I doubt it, why? Because we are all from different backgrounds and as human beings we tend to stick to what we know rather than branch out into the unknown The internet gives us anonymity, it ceases to be about age, sex, race, colour, profession, etc. The internet is a meeting of minds, not of faces, here we judge with our interlect not with our eyes |
The asking complete strangers for idea's on a message board is pretty intresting, but I think I found a winner
