I had the same problem of rudeness when I joined about a month ago. At first I was upset. If people are wanted to stay around, a little courtesy is nice. But I'm glad I did stay. This is a fun place with some cool people who have extensive horror knowledge. I am in awe of them.

Man, you dont even know. Have you read the Sticky in the general forum? It was so much worse for noobs before they cracked down, trust me. I avoided most of it myself, but most others werent so lucky. Go dig up some old threads in the New Member Lounge, you'll see.

Here's a typical example. I tried to find one that IA75 posted in, but alas, no luck. Him and DraculainDallas were hands down the kings of noob bashing. Anyway, this is how most of them went down:

Please nobody bump that...

I didn't think I was doing anything to scare her off.....I'm usually nice to the new people....Wait a minute....Why are you doing my job Return?? I'm the one usually defending the n00bs.

I'm trying to find out the name of a movie I saw when I was a little girl. I didn't see the whole thing, only a scene when this guy goes up to a woman's room and she throws something at his face (some sort of liquid) and his face is all red, like fresh blood or like his skin peeled off...

That really creeped me out, it must have been in the 80's and I wanted to see the whole thing now.

Do you know this movie?

The first film to pop in my head is The Howling(though I doubt this is the film)...it's probably one of the countless Phantom of the Opera themed movies....maybe.
