Kapow! There are lots of bad directors out there but none that are as detrimental to the genre I love.

At least Roland Emmerich is a more better German than Uwe and at least he doesn't do his movies for taxes.

nothing i guess .. if they're executed properly .. which in the case of HOTD - they weren't.

Dude, House of the Dead rawked! I loved the scene when they are killing the bad eviol zombies and that violent rap music is playing. ;)

acording to your post its our fault as the horror/ video game community that his movies suck, and thet he gets work.

and to all thoughts who really dont like him or his movies just get a gun and learn to shoot, i dont think many people will try to stop you.

Hmmm... I didn't really intend to imply this, although it may have seemed that way. As for why his movies suck, I'd say that's his fault, and no one else's. So why does he continue to get work? This I'm not so sure about. His films are (more or less) universally panned, and routinely perform very poorly at the box office. Anyone care to venture any theories as to why he's still working?

i've said it a million times here ..
the guy makes shitty movies ..but if no one saw them or rented them he'd stop in a hurry.
blame the fans .. the kiddies are dumb enough for his 'films' to appeal to.

At least he wasn´t given the rights to screw up either "Silent Hill" or "Fatal frame"....Grrrrr
