On the other hand, as far as real Craven sequels go, did you ever see The Hills Have Eyes Part 2? What a dud.

Austin, I just want to make sure that you know Wes Craven didn't have anything to do with the Wishmaster films (as far as writing or directing goes). He just slapped his name on it to put more butts in the seats.


I ACTUALLY DID'NT KNOW THAT WELL IF IT WAS'NT HIM THAN WHO DID IT CAUSE I WOULD ECSPECT A WISHMASTER TYPE FILM COMING FROM CRAVEN (THE FIRST AND ONLY THE FIRST WISHMASTER IS WHAT I'M REFERRING TO)SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO DID IT AND CHECK OUT SOME OF HIS/HER OTHER WORK CAUSE WISHMASTER IS ONE OF MY FAVORATES.

If you are a fan of KNB effects, I have good news for you. Bob Kurtzman (the K in KNB) directed the first Wishmaster. And, as payment for effects work on Pulp Fiction, he had Tarantino take a story idea he came up and turn it into a script. That movie became From Dusk Till Dawn.

He has only directed one other film, but the latest I've heard on him is that he's just retired from the f/x business to direct more movies.
