You are right that there is a majority of violence going on in the home and its a shame, but rarely are there not warning signs.

The sheeple need to see the warning signs, I cant tell you the number of times I have been in a situation that I got out of just based on being able to see the signs.

By the way, in North America,(I dont know about Canada) the Timberwolf is making a major comeback. (Not to toot my own horn but, thanks to people like me) I would have to check but I do believe that they were taken off the endangered list and possibly the threatened list.

who wants to be a shepherd ... well to some extent you and me .. and anyone else with kids .. thats our sphere of influence ..
they are the major means for us to make a difference.
There are other subtler ways .. by being a strong good person that might influence others in a small way ...

the challenge is that while i'm trying to bring up my kid right, there are 500,000 other people in my city alone who are incapable and/or dont give a shit. One of their kids may some day point a gun at my kid because they didnt like the way he looked at him.

I think your analogy of a wolf/superior individual is more suited for the shepherd anyway ... if you're sure you have what it takes, then its better to be a leader than a loner.

As much as i think the world is filled with stupid uncaring dangerous people - i still meet a few from time to time that make the ride worth it.

People are something else. Lets say you have a group of happy people. Um, about five people. You put one mean, drama causing person into the mix. About less than one month later, all the happy people are bitter people, and they go out into the world where they intigrate into other pockets of happiness, bleeding it dry. Then, there is no happiness anywhere!

If you work with that person though, it's a little difficult to cut them out of your life. It's amazing how one person can cause such a funk.

We've told her. The problem is, she happens to be a supervisor and she has the boss in her pocket. She would hang around just to be spiteful.

Sounds to me like she is a vampyre, comes in a room and just sucks the life out of it.

IMO the best thing to do is cut her out of your circle of life, pretend she isnt there.

Sooner than you think she will be gone, people like this live for drama, without they cant live.

I have to say Urgeok, it would be interesting to know you in real life. You sound like someone with a good head on their shoulders. That is something that seems to be lacking around here.
