I don't get "diehard" marilyn monroe fans. I mean she was just an ambitious slut with a pretty face who died lying naked and bloated on a bed, overdosed on sleeping pills. A classy end to a classy lady.

This is so true, don't get me wrong I love my cousin and he's my best friend but I stayed with the guy for one summer and I had no Idea how aggravating he could be.

I think that's all cousins in general

I've lived with four of the million I have and three of them were assholes and the one I was talking about was just really aggravating at times.

a hard thing to explain. She was breathtakingly beautiful ... in no way is that kind of beauty common.
Her movies were fun .. she had a sexy innocence ...
A lot had to do with the time and place ... it cant be reproduced today .. the climate has changed. We cant accept that kind of sexual naivity now .. it doesnt work.

i personally never follow any celebrity's off screen lives .. if i read a biography its because i want to read about what was going on when certain movies were being made - the process ... and that includes Monroe - i've read nothing about her.

All i can say is that seeing her on film .. whatever quality it is that she had .. it hits me in the heart....
Its easy to see why a large part of the world fell in love with her ...
