Sounds like (no offence, but seriously...) daddy's being yet another judgemental twat.
If he actually paid attention to the topics that were being discussed within the forums, even OURS...he'd see that there's really not that much to worry about, and if he's taken the time to teach his child well, he's not going to go and make any stupid, life altering decisions on the basis of things that are said on an internet forum anyway.

I could be wrong about him, but going by the information available to me, he should actually have a look at the issue at hand rather than handing out judgement based on his own pre-conceived opinions of something he most likely knows little about.
If he does his son the courteousy of offering a little trust and understanding, their relationship would most likely improve as well.

Ok, I'm done.

Let's keep in mind, there was life before the internet. Alos we are only getting one side of the story, who knows what is really the root of this.

lmao that's a bit better advice. I read him a few odd posts and he was laughing his ass off lol. I still like that last one best. allmykids, if you're 40, why would you care what your parents say? No offense, but I doubt someone would try to rape you, you'd likely be the rapist/seducer lol.
First off I was Joking, Second I didn't know there was an age limit on who could be raped. And third Mabey there is a murderer online. a lady was just murdered by another lady she met online last week.

Very true.....life before the internet. Its most definately not the same world I grew up in as a kid. When is the last time you saw a bunch of kids playing ball in the street. Or manhunt...do kids still play manhunt?

I don't know if its a bad thing but computers and video games have taking over our childrens lives, mine included. I threw my boy out the other day to get some fresh air and after screaming about "the big shining ball in the sky burning his eyes" he layed on the ground in a fetal position and cried for Viewtiful Joe to save him.

You should read a paper once in a while, there are 80 year old being rape. And if you knew anything you would know rape is never about sex, it's about power and control. And to call someone the raper, due to their age is not funny at all. Pretty tacky if you ask me.

I remember a time before my house had the internet...or at least before we had DSL so I didnt really care.

I was outside alllll the time and I had cool little made up games that I played with my neighboors.

But I dont know what I'd do without the internet now. I'd get so bored and I wouldnt know any of you fine people.

Well said cheeb.

I'd also like to say that this -- and any other online forum -- is just a microcosm of society. You can't sheild your children from reality. You can inform them of right and wrong, etc. But ultimately it is out of the parents' hands.

Hopefully, you can start posting on a regular basis again Vamp.
