Was fairly lucky to see Robert Wise's "THE HAUNTING" at a revival theatre about two years ago, and that was sweeeeeet, too. The print was a little scratchy, but I was a happy person. That house is pretty creepy on the big screen.

Good one. Great atmosphere and very claustrophobic.....I mean c'mon...your in a submarine...where the fuck are you going to go.

and the best of all the haunting...it was a tv movie made in about 88/89.. it was based on a true story about a family who moved into a house in l.a

My favourite is Potergeist.

It was the first scary movie I ever watched as a young fellow, and have loved it ever since.

Can't beleive it wasn't mentioned yet.

well, you mentioned ir first:) and whats about poltergeist? I love such moviez very much. it is really scary, because the poltergeist is reality, it happens around the world... and such moviez are pretty cool, not as fantasy films as "van helsing", shit...
