How was it?

I thought it was much better than Idiocracy, but not as good as Office Space. I thought it was great, though it didn't live up to it's full potential, still worth seeing. I quite enjoyed Affleck's character (as you can tell by my avatar). Some of the characters, specifically Step and a few other workers in the factory seem to be live versions of characters you might find on King of the Hill. Recommended.

Was it a remake of Halloween II or a sequel to the Halloween remake?

Tokyo Zombie

Still not sure how I felt about this one, I'll probably have to watch it again. The special effects weren't that great and I didn't care for the CG, not only that but the story/characters/pacing/movie in general switched gears repeatedly and took a lot for me to stay interested. I like MMA, I like zombies, I like foreign horror flicks... I didn't hate this one but I'm just not sure how much I liked Tokyo Zombie.

How as Gamer _V_?

A sequel to the remake though the first 10-15 minutes take place in a hospital.

Action sequences - Crank-ed up.
Story and characters - ineffective.

Worth a watch for the action alone. The rest is forgettable.

Tropic Thunder (2008)

Definitely better than I thought it was going to be, but not great.

I can't wait to see this one, I love everything Mike Judge does, including Idiocracy

The Cottage.

An exemplary example of Urbanoia and over the top horror comedy. Exellent acting, direction, storyline combine to make a very entertaining picture.
Starts in a very subtle manner and gradually ramps up the violence and gore along with the humor. It's all perfectly paced so you never doubt what's going on, but are swept up with the story and action.
I laughed out loud many times.
The only flaws I found were the somewhat cheesey mask the big bad evil guy was wearing- it was pretty fake looking, and one instance of a musical cue that drew attention to itself. Minor complaints in an otherwise wonderfully done film.
Part of the After Dark Filmfest III.

Chrono- you'd love it.

Ironmaster

Loved it quite a cool spin on the genre in places. George Eastman cracked me up with the lion's head on his head that looks like he'd ripped apart a stuffed toy haha!

I'd love to find a poster of this one because the artwork is dope.

An amazing Italian film about a young boy's discovery of another young boy being held captive in a hole in the ground.

Dramatic, suspenseful, profound, terrifying...

Glad you like it. There was a scene when the two boys lying down in the filed and playing with the toys...it was like they put little toys (cars) on the sky and playing them with the clouds..that shot just blew me away! Excellent cinematography! A very beautiful film indeed.
