Eden Lake was pretty cool my complaint was that the main characters were a little spineless. As for the ending I can see that happening in reality among certain circles.

Nightmare City

Finally got round to this... great fun and a novel twist on the zombie flick. I didn't think much of the ending and thought it could've ended more effectively without the **SPOILER**nightmare sequence**SPOILER** giving it a really bleak feel. Some of the face people pulled when they were killed had me laughing my ass off!

River's Edge

Been meaning to watch this one for a long while now...glad I finally did. Really powerful flick, one of those movies that almost makes you feel dirty after watching it. The apathy of the main characters is nothing short of disturbing, and the actors are all spot on. Daniel Roebuck gives the kind of performance that just sends chills down your spine - his speech by the river had me completely spellbound. Crispin Glover is manic as always but it suits his character, and Dennis Hopper pulls off a damn scary performance (as per usual).

Pretty sure it was Elvis that recommended this in the first place - thanks for the suggestion man.

Forget Paris - A pretty acceptable romantic comedy.

Ditto.

The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970)

http://shopping.yahoo.com/video/imag.../19/208019.jpg

Billy Wilder took an interesting look on the dark & sad side of the World's greatest detective in this hilarious mystery adventure; but there were more than that...mysterious French woman, Mycroft Holmes played by Christopher Lee, midgets, Scotland, the Queen and last but not the least the Loch Ness Monster! A fun watch indeed with quite a sad ending.

I wouldn't mind checking out the original Day The Earth Stood Still before I brave the remake... especially since everyone's making it sound like a shitfest.

The Crippled Masters

This is one awesome kung fu movie, you have got to see it.

Demon seed

Ahh, this is that movie, pretty cool, glad I decided to watch it. I can't believe I hadn't seen it before.

7/10

Altered

I thought this was pretty average, it seemed like it was part 2, it left to many questions unanswered and contradicted itself in the end I thought, I found it a bit frustrating.
