I want a doberman more than anything (except maybe a draft horse but that'd be a lottery win in hell chance of ever happening), but I'm happy with what I got. Life is just so empty without a pet to share it with. 8)
And thank you. It was really hard at first, but it's gotten easier. Saying goodbye to my cat though... you may have to put me down with her. I tell people just about everyday, "if it weren't for my cat you wouldn't be alive." ::smile::

Certainly agree with you about animal lovers. I don't care what anyone's other hobbies are, if they abuse animals, that right there is a red flag. I might collect skulls, but I obtain them through finding them, not killing them.

Much respect for you for taking in those types. My mother is the same way with people at times. She's just such a bleeding heart, it's no wonder where I got it.

Hey, it's okay for Hrcrux to be rude. I'm assuming from most of his comments that he's about 9 years old so it can be excused. And I think u and your mom are champs for loving animals and humans. It's not really all that common these days.

I realised another thing I don't know...I could google, you could google, but I haven't yet because I don't want to effect the legitimacy of this thought.

Cats - Feline
Dogs - Canine
Horses - Equine
Pigs - Porcine
Cows - Bovine

All the 4-leggers seem to have their "ine" names.

Though I realised, while I know these.
I am both sure there are many others referring to other animals, but...most assuredly, I do not know what this is for Goats and Sheep.
They may be under the same group?

When you say sheep, you mean humans. Well, not all humans. ::wink::

If my memory serves, Goats are Capra Hircus and sheep are Ovis Aries. Now, whether that's species or genus, I'm not sure.
So, if a cat ( Felis ) is a feline, does that mean a goat (Capra) is a caprine? Or a sheep Ovine?
