made the most of a small budget .. excellent unknown cast. well written.

Ditto.
Pretty decent sci fi thriller. Simple story, nicely executed.

This is England

It's alright, but it gives a skewed view of skinheads for the most part of the film. And it was another ending that left me feeling like somthing was missing. As though there was somthing more to be said.

6.5/10

Taxi Driver (1976) - 10/10.

Not only my favourite Scorsese flick, but most likely my favourite film out there.

Brand Upon the Brain!

I sincerely want to thank Fortunato for suggesting this one...what a wonderful experience this film is.

Such a beautifully made excursion into the surreal...it combines conventions of silent film with some theatrical sensibilities and a fantastic horror/sci-fi vibe. It's funny, touching, chilling and just all-around enthralling - I'll second Fortunato's recomendation, and say that this is essential viewing for anyone interested in surrealist cinema.

I really have to check out more of Maddin's work, ASAP.

Another movie I haven't seen since I was a kid....Scream & Scream Again.

Doesn't hold up well with time and it has the BIG THREE in it [ Price, Lee and Cushing] Kinda lame.

Haha, awesome. I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Definitely check out some more of his work. Last year's My Winnipeg was pretty incredible.
