Two really good movies you watched there CrimsonFiend138...
Eraserhead is a really weird movie, but then again it's Lynch and you pretty much always get freaked out things when he's involved. Children... has a great vibe and I always enjoy watching it.

Yeah I really enjoyed Eraserhead, there was a couple WTF's and a few ugh but besides that I really liked it and I thought the baby was adorable.

Vibe would be a good word to describe Children, I loved the look and idk just seeing them walking towards the house just creeped me out for some odd reason.

Just watched Children of the Corn III: Wow, the only thing I remembered was the giant...rat...thing, I actually liked it, very crappy but I liked it. Charlise Theron was in a few shots lol. I thought it was hilarious when the giant rat picked up the black girl and they used a barbie doll HAHAHA. Eli the main antagonist did a good job as the weird kid, although nothing near as creepy as Issac.

Frost/Nixon

In the interest of full disclosure, this post may contain some comments that could be seen as minor spoilers: but, let's face it - if you're going to see this movie, you probably know how it's going to end anyway.

Anyway.

Near the end of the film, Sam Rockwell's character says the following of the success of the final Frost/Nixon interview: "....the rest of the project and its failings would not only be forgotten, they would totally cease to exist."

I feel the exact same way about the film itself.

The movie is a damn slow burn in the beginning, and it really didn't grab me at first - seemed very bland, as though I had seen it a million times in every other "charismatic underdog" movie. But once Frost hit his stride and Nixon shattered his veneer with an ultimately damning phone call, I was in awe. Powerhouse performances from both leads, a whip-sharp script and masterful direction all rise together in a deafening crescendo and end in one of the most stunningly powerful scenes ever put to film. And I was left staring at the credits, utterly stupefied by the display of talent I had just witnessed.

Is the movie perfect? No, far from it. But by the ending, just like Rockwell's character says, not only are it's flaws forgotten: it's as though they never even existed.

Different black-and-white animation techniques tell four scary stories. These stories are connected by another story about a man with a devilish smile and four enormous dogs from hell and by a woman's monologue about her fears.

Highly recommended, specially for the last segment where a man doesn't get the rest he hoped for in an old, dark 'not-so-abandoned' house....awesomely creepy, excellent work of art & animation!

Just watched this one as well. The whole thing was pretty good with the last segment and the insect segment being standouts. I found the dialogue about fear in between the shorts to be trite and annoying though.

Funny Games U.S.

Loved this one. The atmosphere was great in my opinion. The ending bugged me a bit tho.
