Behind the Mask: The rise of Leslie Vernon

I finally got to see this as I'm in catch up mode. It was a clever flick, I like how it switched from mockumentery to movie mode. There isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said here before.

This is quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen, but that's a very good thing. Like Troll 2, it's an absolute riot; what was supposed to be a very serious drama is now an instant cult classic, thanks to the tragically bad acting of director Tommy Wiseau.

I urge you all to check this clip out:

I thought Behind the Mask was hilarious lol not what I was expecting. It was a great Idea.

Just watched Bad Taste and I must say I thought it was great, never seen Bad Taste or Dead alive until a couple hours ago and both were very fun. The only thing I didn't like was how the guy was so eager to use the rocket launcher and he blew up his friend's car(just to kill two aliens!!)

Also watched Re-animator for the first time and loved it. Always saw it in stores and thought it looked boring but great flick, highly recommended. Anyone seen the sequels, any good?

Repo.The Genetic Opera

Once I got over most of the songs being set to the sound of New Metal, it was a pretty good flick, the shit music was mixed up with some discordent blues and jazz but overall it was a cheesy romp.... It's a shame it's not getting a wider release.

Fear(s) of the Dark (2007/2008)

Trailer

Different black-and-white animation techniques tell four scary stories. These stories are connected by another story about a man with a devilish smile and four enormous dogs from hell and by a woman's monologue about her fears.

Highly recommended, specially for the last segment where a man doesn't get the rest he hoped for in an old, dark 'not-so-abandoned' house....awesomely creepy, excellent work of art & animation!

The House that Dripped Blood

A good horror anthology with some great star casts.

Phantasm III

This is a great movie. Made in 1994 this is one of quite few really good horror movies from the 90's. The Tall Mans unholy crusade of destruction continues and Reggie teams up with a little kid called Tim and a girl called Rocky. Together they go after the Tall Man to rescue Mike.

Thunderball

One of my favourite James Bond movies. Spectre has gotten hold of two nuclear warheads and they demand a 100,000,000 pound ransom but of course 007 is there (in the Bahamas) to save the world.

Tutti i colori del buio (All the colours of the dark)

My, oh my. This is one of my all time favourite movies. It's absolutly amazing!
Directed by Sergio Martino, one of the top giallo directors ever, this is the story of a young woman called Jane (played by the beautifull Edwige Fenech) who is tormented by strange visions, is stalked by a strange man and gets involved in a satanic cult. Great actors, great (and weird) story and a truely amazing soundtrack by Bruno Nicolai. This is a must see for any fan of euro horror!

Eraserhead:....um...wow...well I loved it, didn't understand it. I had my own personal coneection/interpretation to it. Looking at the cover I always thought it was about a serial killer but wow was I way off.

Children Shouldn't play with dead things: I remember seeing this when I was younger and gave it another go. It genuinely creeped me out, the make-up was great and I loved the ending. It shows you don't need gore and boobs to have a horror movie. Great zombie movie..
