Yeah - There isn't enough of the story to keep me engaged, unfortunately. You're right to draw a line to Fallout because there I just couldn't put it down - That world was fun to explore but with Mass Effect it's oddly cumbersome.
On the complete other side of the spectrum, I finally started to play Lollipop Chainsaw (PS3) - I found it incredibly entertaining for the first couple of hours, and then the clunky game engine really got to me... Oh, and the villains are really unimaginative and dumb. Too bad; this could have been a good, silly, fanboy schlock game but it just didn't come together...
Ordered Dishonored for the 360 to hopefully fill the void.
