Oh? I've heard it was his best work. Which movies of his would you reccomend?

i thought vertigo was pretty darn good..

Most people would say Vertigo is his best work. I just didnt think it was all that great...the actors are good and the ending is phenominal, but the rest just seemed to fall flat. A great idea, but I really didnt care much for how it was done.

Personally, Id say Psycho is his best. Rear Window, Frenzy and The Lady Vanishes are all very good as well.

Buuut, seeing as I haven't seen many of his films, I just grabbed Vertigo. I'm pumped to watch it. :)

An American Haunting &
Sympathy for Mr. vengeance

tonight.

Vertigo is absolutely his best work, and my third favorite film of all time. You'll like it.

However, you should have bought the Masterpiece Collection. I have half the movies already and I'm still tempted to buy it. It's fucking gorgeous.

Hell yeah. I still need the signature collection (I think that's the other one) but the masterpiece collection with it's purple velvet box looks damn good on my shelf.

Also, I really liked Family Plot, much overlooked.

Masters of Horror 2-Pack: Lucky McKee's Sick Girl/ John Landis' Deer Woman

To be honest, neither of these ones look very good. But then again, neither did Chocolate and I really enjoyed that one.

I'm going to pick that up tomorrow. To be honest, it was the 2-pack I'm least excited about. Hope it turns out good, though. I can't wait for the Argento's Jenifer and whatever it's going to be paired with.
