went back to the b-movie thing today and got to see these on the big screen:

fright night (1985)

-after fright night, i got to meet its writer/director, tom holland (also responsible for child's play, the langoliers, thinner, etc.), and had a nice little chat with him, and finally found out why jerry dandrige eats fruit throughout the entire film (i had always wondered.). anyway, he signed my copy of the film.

What a movie! Powerhouse performances all around, sharp dialogue, and beautifully shot.

R.I.P. Paul Newman - one of the greats, for sure.

Original or remake?

I found one disappointing, and the other just plain awful.

I just watched Run Angel Run, not bad just weird for a biker movie to have a woman's point of view.
