Best video game I've ever played, hands down. Any recommendations for other games like that I would appreciate it. :-D

I honestly don't think there is one to match up against Fallout 3.

Can't top Dead Space for really any genre. I played Fallout 3, I know they aren't really similar, but... Yeah. Dead Space :3

Loved Dead Space. Last game i think i was really hooked on. Couldnt get into the second one though. I think that was around the time my obsession with video games started to dwindle.

"Fallout 3" the Mothership Zeta expansion.

Definitely the worst Fallout expansion i've yet played. Wasn't too fond of "Operation: Anchorage" either, but this one takes the trophy.

Right - The only problem I had with Dead Space is that it scared me too much so I had to stop playing. :o I should really give it another try. Heh.

Still playing Rage in my free time. Enjoyable, but I agree with critics that for such an "open world" it's pretty empty outside of quests. Gorgeous, but wish it had more that you could wander around and fight, explore, and plunder. Also the lack of a major plot thread is a de-motivator.

The 3rd Birthday and Pokemon HeartGold. Both are awesome games.

playing:
NBA Jam: On Fire Edition and Cthulhu Saves the World to pass time until MW3 comes out in a few hours. Tried to play a game called Risen, but it seemed like a clone of ES3: Morrowind so i couldn't stand it. got stuck in splatterhouse on brutal difficulty about 3/4 of the way through my first play-through (got far enough to unlock all the originals though! YAY! - sorta the reason i bought the game at all). still smashin on Black Ops, getting all the satisfaction i can from it until it becomes obsolete tonight.

Put Venetica aside for a while (slow game...) and started on another I'd had on the backburner for no apparent reason "HomeFront".
It's not bad. Another game that mirrors CODs control system.
I like alternative history/what if type realities in games so that's a pretty cool factor for me. It's nice looking enough with some pretty intense (sometimes annoyingly so) combat. Nice dark reality, this I like.
Only things I don't like is sometimes grenades just kill you very cheaply no sooner than you see the warning icon, and, your character moves around rather sluggishly. Nothing so bad that I won't keep playing, every game has it's flaws, and this one doesn't have a great many.
