I wonder how outdated "Unfriended" will be in 5, 10, or 15 years. Will it be as drastic as a movie that was based on a dialup-run AOL messenger or threats downloaded in .MPEGs at 240 and 9.6 kbps or will it hold up better?

Probably. I've sorta wished Cronenberg would remake Videodrome for that reason, even though it's still amazing as-is.

The sequel will be something worse, like "I Know What You Did on Facebook Last Month" ::roll eyes:: ::shocked::

So far, this movie does not interest me; although, I may rent it in the future when I'm really, really bored ::stick out tongue::

interesting proposition, but you may not have noticed, Cron has gotten out of the FX biz. his last endeavors are like Jung battles Freud for a lady.

i could see another director revisioning Videodrome.
