Superb! A piece of mind-blowing cinema I was extremely lucky to see. Hugh Jackman has earned a lot of my respect after this movie...and I hope to see him do more in similar vein and stamp his authority as a great actor. Aronofsky's direction is brilliant, as is the script and the pacing. I love the cinematography (especially the colours) of this one too.

A great experience. I recommend it to anyone with similar tastes in cinema finesse. Mind you, it's not for everyone.

Sandler isn't half as bad as Will Ferrell and Steve Carell, and all the other shit actors who only star in lame *comedies* because they can't get anything else.

to be fair - i think both Will Ferrell and Steve Carell can do drama ....

but the filmmakers are milking these guys for what they are worth - riding the gravy train on what made these guys so popular.

and they are popular because john Q public has been paying $$$$$$$$
to see them do their dumb comedies.

ah, yes. i loved this one as well. very different from aronofsky's other work.

It has made quite an impression I must admit. I can't wait for a Aronofsky boxset.

Beautiful movie. Best blind buy ever for me.

Ferrell is starting to bore me......Steve Carell...not yet..I'm looking forward to Get Smart.
