You're dissing "Karate Kid" AND Chuck Norris, in the same breath? Blasphemy.

oh, i completely forgot:

last friday i went to the music box theatre in chicago to see that glorious cinematic debacle known as troll 2 on the big screen. i got to meet and hang out with michael stephenson and george hardy (joshua and michael waits, respectively). they were both super nice and screened a trailer for best worst movie, which is apparently the documentary they're making about the recent troll 2 revival (?!).

all in all a completely wonderful cinema experience.

I expected an interesting mystery thriller but it wasn't like that at all. Only good thing in the movie was Leonor Watling:rolleyes: .

Superbad

I showed my brother the Red Band trailer for Pineapple Express and he laughed his ass off and said, "Do we have Superbad?" and I said, "No, why? Haven't seen it yet?" and he was like, "Nope." So imediately I say Let's go to Blockbuster and buy it. So I call Blockbuster and they said they had 3 for $20 DVDs so I bought Superbad, Bourne Ultimatum, and The Mist so we came home and watched Superbad because he never saw it and we just laughed our asses off like normal. The things and themes in this movie I can relate to very much. This is how my friends and I talked in public and high school and it just made both of us love it that much more.

The Mist

I saw this in the movie theatre and it hit me hard. Very well made and it was just that suspenseful and crazy. My brother never saw it so we watched this again and my brother loved it. He has a son so the ending was hard for him. But this flick if you have never seen it is very well made, very well acted, and is very sad and hard hitting.

I think Pineapple Express looks pretty much like their best effort yet...time'll tell though...

Phantasm 2

Since I had only watched the first one earlier in the day, I guess I had a different perspective on it to most. I thought it was a good sequal, it was more squirmy than the origanal, but they didn't advance the story any which was a shame.

Holy shit, fortunado, I was almost there!

I'm alwaaays at the Music Box Theatre, but being away at college hindered my ability to go to some of the best events this year (Music Box Massacre, Sci-Fi Marathon, etc.).

I've had some of my greatest silver screen moments there- seeing The Day the Earth Stood Still and then Patricia Neal in person, seeing Inland Empire and then David Lynch in person, seeing Rope and then getting Farley Granger's autograph. What a fantastic theatre.

Aqua teen hunger force colon movie film for theaters

Hu ha ha, it's as funny as the show, actually funnier than the last lot of episodes I watched. Not somthing that happens very often with the t.v show to movie transition.
