I'm pretty happy with the gas prices around here. I almost got a half a tank with only 5 bucks!

Seems people are happy to pay extra, and ever increasing prices for these kind've things, but when it comes to the practical purchase of fuel, they get cheap...?
*A train ticket going as little as 2 stops is about $4AUD.
Now unless you've got a real gas guzzler of a car to an insane level, you could drive the same distance there and back on a litre of fuel which at the highest of high prices here might be $1.90AUD, leave when you want - not subject to timetables and inefficient service, you can control (in most cases) the temperature, you can move (in most cases) up to 4 people rather than just yourself, you don't have to put up with strangers, you can listen to music, and generally get there quicker and more efficiently. For less.

So what the fuck...? Just because it was "this much less" like 10 years ago?
Inflation. Actually happens with everything.
I think it's time people shut up about this one.

Over £1GBP a litre is a lot. That's over $2.27AUD and nearly $1.50USD. And how many people have to buy over 50 one litre bottles of Coke a few times a month?

How my school has the Web Design and Programming students have a a common first year. I know the Web D people are all very creative and that most of our brains don't function very well when it comes to logic and math. The Programmers are great with logic but suck at design and colour theory.

So here I am with only 56% percent in my C# development class with an exam worth only 20%. Even if I did understand anything about methods and arrays and got perfect on the final I would only get a 76%. There goes my average.

Sure I will end up with a 95 in English Communications, and high 80s in Database, Graphic design and HTML. I just really wanted to be the person who gets handed the summer Web Design job at the end of the year.

Ok, so those prices DO sound pretty high...but then, public transport (here at least) is by far and wide more expensive than that.
It's a practical expense, like electricity - people just have to deal with it.
But like I said...my main issue is with those that AAAALWAYS complain about it, low end or high.

I am one of those lazy bastards
I just pay the price cos I can't be bothered running around all over town,
chasing down all the specials.
By the time you do get there, it wouldve cost you extra to put petrol in your car.

'crosses her legs n swings on her chair'

yups!!just good ole lazy stubbs' :D

I don't ever really read the price of gas.. I just buy it. The only time I go out of my way somewhere to get gas is when I have a lot off from my giant eagle fuel perks..(it's down the street a couple blocks) but I don't really go to giant eagle that often anymore I'd rather just go to save a lot.
