nice to see the US version of The Ring has gotten some love.

In order (best to not quite as good as the best)
Se7en
Halloween
Psycho
Dawn of the Dead
Kairo
and in case you don't want to count Se7en (I do) my alternate is Alien

Meh...I graded it on overall werewolfieness. While I agree "Dog Soldiers" is a hell of allot better in terms of horror, "Bad Moon" IMO is a better werewolf flick.

Reasons.

1: The werewolf in "Bad Moon" is one killer costume. IMO it is the best looking werewolf on film I have seen so far. (not that the were's in Dog Soldiers weren't awesome as well.)

2: You get to see that awesome costume allot in "Bad Moon". If it is one thing I hate is not getting enough werewolf (or other creature) in the movie. I mean come on they are the star right?!

3: I enjoyed the story better than "Dog Soldiers". The book "Thor" by Wayne Smith, which "Bad Moon" is based on is also a great story.

4: The movie "Bad Moon" also dispelled allot of the werewolf myths such as, silver bullets are needed to kill a werewolf, only a full moon will induce a transformation, etc. etc. I like movies that do this to the legends. Which is why I enjoyed "Teen Wolf" as well, but I decided to leave that off this list because it just isn't horror.
